Obituary

Therese L. “Tess” (Charlebois) Wells, age 92, of Brockton, died December 27, 2020 at West Acres Nursing Home. Therese was the loving wife for 62 years of the late William A. Wells, Sr. (Ret BFD). Lifelong of Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George and Alma (Richard) Charlebois. A graduate of Brockton High School, she was employed by New England Telephone Company, Fernandes Supermarket and Jack Conway Realty.

Therese was a talented seamstress and enjoyed knitting, cooking and collecting Hummel figurines. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed time spent with her family. Winters in Newport Richie, FL and at the Chateau in North Haverhill, NH with her husband were special to her.

Therese was the mother of Kathleen A. DeGrassie of Andover, NH, Nancy J. Abrams and her husband Roy of East Bridgewater and the late William A. Wells, Jr. and Jane L. Wells. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her daughter in law Jane (Quintal) Wells of Plymouth and her West Acres family of caretakers. She was the sister of the late George, Richard, Edward and Raymond Charlebois and Lillian Davis.

Private family services will be held and Therese will be buried with her husband in Calvary Cemetery. Please consider a donation in her name to a charity of your choice.
