Thomas Joseph "TJ" Almeida

Thomas Joseph was born on November 1, 1979 in Brockton, Massachusetts as the

middle of three children, to his father, Michael "Mike" Almeida and his mother, the

late Debra "Debbie" Monteiro Almeida. Lovingly known as "TJ," he was a

cherished husband, son, father, new grandfather, and endeared brother. TJ was

warm and compassionate; he was fun-loving, bringing jokes and laughter to lighten

our hearts, so full of life and spontaneity, and was regarded by his family

as amazing, thoughtful, and a pillar of strength!

TJ immersed himself in family, friends, and community. He attended Brockton High

School, moved to settle down in Brentwood, California, and pursued sales in the

automobile industry. He worked diligently for 18 years for a reputable car

dealership. As a result of his sociable people skills, excellent professionalism, and

charming nature, TJ was ultimately promoted to Sales Manager for the auto

company. TJ's accomplishments were grounded in his superb capacity for team

work. Through strategic insight and effective team collaboration, he and his team

achieved the highest level of sales in the company's development.

TJ was someone special, with a loving heart. In his zest for life, he shared his

passions with family and close friends, including sports such as basketball, football,

and fishing. TJ was a loyal Celtics enthusiast who enjoyed rooting for his home

team even while living on the west coast. TJ also loved music, cared about animals,

was an avid learner with appreciation for educational podcasts related to news and

sports, and enjoyed travelling; he visited exciting places ~ Greece, Hawaii,

Mexico, the Bahamas, and around the United States!

Our beloved TJ passed away, as the Lord God took him home, on April 19, 2025.

TJ passes the torch of life to his loved ones: his wife of over 11 years (together for

25 golden years), Alexandrina "Alex" Ribeiro Almeida; his father Michael "Mike"

Almeida; his sisters Gena Almeida Suber (husband, David Suber) and Jessica

Almeida Leveque (husband, Jean "Chris" Leveque); his children: Thomas Joseph

"TJ" Almeida, Jr., Reginald "Reggie" Alexander Ribeiro Howard, and Noah Julio

Almeida; his baby grandson, Ezra Alexander Ribeiro Arano; and, a vast, loving

family of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and dear close friends. TJ dedicated his

life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he is now wrapped in God's eternal,

Heavenly love. Our TJ will be loved, forever and always

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, May 3rd starting a 12:00PM followed by a funeral service from 1:00PM-3:00PM. Private Cremation will follow.
