Obituary

Thomas G. Bonamici, age 69, of Brockton died August 28, 2024 at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Thomas and Beverly (Donahue) Bonamici.

A 1974 graduate of Brockton High School, Tom spent many years working at Central Music in Brockton. He was a talented music teacher and professional musician who loved playing his guitar. He played in several bands and was a favorite of The Playground.

Tom enjoyed watching New England sports. Most importantly, he enjoyed time with his family.

Thomas was the brother of Nancy Clinch and her husband Neal of Taunton, Joan MacLaughlin and her husband Michael of Rockland and the late Shirley Celia and her husband John of Brockton.. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton on Thursday September 5 from 4-7pm followed by a service at 7pm. Burial at a later day in Calvary Cemetery.
