Thomas J. Top Cat Cronin, 62, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Signature Health Care Brockton Hospital.
Born April 10, 1952 in Brockton, he was the son of the late D. Leo Cronin and Rita P. (Condon) Cronin. A lifelong Brockton resident, he attended St. Patricks School and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1970.
Tommy worked for Pepperidge Farms and J.J. Braga as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed playing cribbage, watching sports, and cheering on his nieces and nephews at their events. He also enjoyed going to lunch with friends and family
He is survived by his children, Katherine R. Dugan and her husband Daniel of Whitman, Thomas J. Cronin, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Haverhill and Mary C. Cronin of Brockton; his granddaughter, Emma Katherine Dugan; his brother, John Cronin and his wife Alice of Raynham; his former wife and good friend, Mary; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Dennis Cronin.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, August 29th at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home Thursday 4:00-8:00PM.
