OBITUARY

Mr. Franco died Tuesday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan MedicalCenter, Brockton after a brief illness.He was born in North Easton son of the late Thomas P. and Emily (Tavares)Franco and has been a resident of Brockton for the past 30 years.

Mr. Franco retired as a machinist from Astro Gear in Brockton after manyyears.

During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army and then the Army Reserve.He was a member of VFW Post 2547 in North Easton.

He enjoyed building model cars and doing handy work around the house.He is survived by his wife HelenaOne son2 sisters and one brotherMany nieces and nephewsHe was the brother of the late Edwin Franco
