Online Obituaries Thomas F. Tom Garrity, 69, of Raynham and formerly of West Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the loving husband for 47 years to his high school sweetheart, Kathleen D. (Nigl) Garrity. Born November 16, 1947 in Boston, he was the son of the late Herbert Garrity and Barbara (Joyce) Garrity. Raised in Dorchester, he attended St.Gregory High School and Dorchester High School. Tom was a retired Carmen Union Worker for the MBTA Local 589 and also had worked for First Student as a Bus Driver for over 17 years. Tom enjoyed helping maintain the fields for the West Bridgewater Youth Athletic Association he had also coached little league in his younger years. He especially enjoyed cooking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael F. Garrity of Easton; his granddaughter, Jacquelyn Garrity of West Bridgewater; his brother, Paul Garrity and his companion, Patty Bernger of East Boston. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (RT28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, October 14th at 10:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 11:00AM.
