Thomas J. Harhen, 82, of Bridgewater, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 at his home under the care of his family and Old Colony Hospice. He was the loving husband of Christine B. (DiPietro) Harhen.
Born October 1, 1942 in Somerville, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Harhen and Etta (Mason) Harhen. Raised in Hyde Park, he graduated from Boston Trade School.
Tom was a Melter for H.C, Stark for over 30 years.
Spending time with his family was most important to him. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching and watching New England Sports teams.
He is survived by his wife, Christine B. (DiPietro) Harhen; his four children, Christine Danko and her husband John, Catherine Parker and her husband Michael, Thomas Harhen and Timothy Harhen and his wife Karen; his grandchildren, Peter Danko, Laura Danko, John Danko, Cara Parker, Meagan Parker, Tyler Harhen, and Alexander Harhen; his great-grandchild Axl Harhen. He was the brother of the late Robert Harhen, Paul Harhen and Mary Bedard.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Tuesday, April 1st from 11:30AM-1:30PM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 2:00PM. Private Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, Brockton, MA 02379.
