Thomas R. Hatchfield

Thomas R. Hatchfield, 72 years, of Brockton, died Monday, March 23, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Chester J. and Eleanor A. (Conley) Hatchfield.

He is survived by Stephen C. Hatchfield and his wife Kelly, Andrew M. Hatchfield and his wife Nikki, James J. Hatchfield, Daniel T. Hatchfield and his wife Jessica. His cherished grandchildren Logan, Aria, Clark, Zachary and Zoey. He is also survived by his beloved dog Cleo. He has two sisters, Mary E. Hatchfield (who passed away in 2020) and Jane A. Donohue, brother-in-law Paul J. Donohue and a nephew Joseph P. Donohue.

Tom worked as a specialist for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in Boston. He also served as a specialist for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for the federal government. He graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School and Stonehill College. He also attended Colorado State University. Tom served his country in the Army & ROTC.

He enjoyed vacationing on the Cape with a good book and spending valuable time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Celtics and Patriots.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church as a lecturer and CCD teacher before his illness.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 8:45-9:45am from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, with a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
