Kelleher, Jr.
January 17, 1938 – January 22, 2026
Thomas A. Kelleher, Jr., of West Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital surrounded by family. He was the husband of the late Janice (Varano) Kelleher.
Born in Cambridge on January 17, 1938, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Corr) Kelleher. A Brockton High School graduate in 1957, where he had an outstanding football career. He attended Dean Junior College and received credit at the Wentworth Institute in 1960 before joining the United States Navy.
Tom was a pneumatic tool repair technician for many years at Chicago Pneumatic, General Motors and Palmac. He earned a reputation for craftsmanship and work ethic. During retirement, he was a bus driver for First Student, and he also opened and operated his own small business where he repaired pneumatic tools. Customers trusted Tom and he enjoyed the relationships he made throughout the pneumatic tool industry.
Tom took great pride tending to his yard and flowers. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's events and spending time with his family and friends. He befriended everyone he met with his great humor.
He is survived by his children Tia Bouvier and her husband Michael, James Kelleher, and Peter Kelleher and his wife Stacey; his grandchildren Nicholas Kelleher, Bryn Bouvier, Jill Bouvier, Jake Kelleher, and Mason Kelleher; his siblings Alice Giordano and Ronald Kelleher and his wife Margaret; his sister-in-law Gail Kelleher; his close friends Frank Daxberger and John Whalen; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Thomas is predeceased by his siblings the late John Kelleher, Mary Kelleher, and George Dennis Kelleher; and his in-laws the late Benedetto and Dorothy Varano and Angelo and Frances Patricelli.
A funeral will be held on Friday, January 30th at 10:00 AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., West Bridgewater. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 29th from 4:00-7:00 PM and Friday, January 30th from 9:00-10:00 AM.
