Thomas L. Nickerson Jr. Thomas L. Nickerson Jr. , 78, of Brockton died Monday, May 19, 2008 at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Mack) Nickerson. Born September 19, 1929 in Brockton he was the son of the late Thomas L. Nickerson Sr. and Mildred F. (Brown) Nickerson. He was a Brockton High School graduate of 1947. Mr. Nickerson was in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War for two years. He was employed by Eastern Edison Company for 44 years. He enjoyed sports and playing baseball for the Easton Huskies. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Brockton Country Club where he achieved a Hole-in-One. He is survived by his long time companion, Patricia Kirkpatrick and her family, Steven, Brian, and Kathy Wing; his daughters, Karen and Sue Ellen; his sons, Paul and Michael; and his grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Derocher; his brother, Kenneth Nickerson; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Funeral prayer service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, May 27th at 11:00AM.
