Thomas E. Simmons, 60, died unexpectedly on June 16, 2022 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was born March 3, 1962 in Brockton MA, the son of William A. and Eunice E. (Boardman) Simmons.
Thomas attended West Bridgewater Public schools and then graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1981. He worked as a plumber for the last 40 years attaining his Journeyman and Master Plumbing Licenses. He had a great love of muscle cars and enjoyed driving his Corvette, which was his pride and joy. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling and was planning to retire in North Carolina to try and catch "the big one", but was just as happy to sit and watch the waves, talk with loved ones, and walk the sandy beaches.
He was predeceased by his father, William A. Simmons. He is survived by his loving life partner, Susan J. Jackson of West Bridgewater, his beloved mother, Eunice E. of West Bridgewater, his brother, William J. Simmons of Cape Carteret NC; brother Brian L. Simmons and wife Jodi, also of Cape Carteret NC; sister Eileen D. (Simmons) Kincaid and husband James of West Bridgewater; brother Wayne E. Simmons and wife Karen of East Bridgewater MA; sister Ann E. Simmons and Fiancé Mark Carney of Dennisport MA; sister Eunice E. Simmons of West Bridgewater; and many loving cousins (Scuzins), nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday June 24th from 4pm - 8pm at Russell & Pica Funeral Home in West Bridgewater. Funeral service will be Saturday June 25th at 10am at Russell & Pica Funeral Home with the committal at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
