Timothy J. Monahan, 30, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a lifelong courageous battle with Barth Syndrome. Born June 19, 1989, in Stoughton, he was the beloved son of Laurie E. (Anderson) Monahan and Thomas D. Monahan. Tim attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2008. In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his devoted siblings, Jennifer R. Monahan, Thomas R. Monahan and his wife, Denise, Michael J. Monahan and his wife, Michelle, and Daniel J. Monahan and his wife, Danielle. Nephew of Linda and John Bartol and Chester and Julie Anderson, he is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his nieces, Mckenna and Melanie, and his nephew, Kyle. Tim was loved by all who knew him, and those who met him would often remark on his resilience, kindness, grace, and memorable sense of humor. Tim enjoyed decorating for the holidays and watching movies with his family, floral arrangement and crafts, caring for his dogs, and gaming with his online community, where he developed some very dear friendships. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday at 9:00AM thence to St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM.
