Tina A. Smiliotopoulos, 69, of Middleboro and formerly of Brockton passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late George Smiliotopoulos.
Born on October 15, 1947 in Neapolis, Crete, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Aristides Sarakinos and Maria (Padiotis) Sarakinos. Tina was raised in Greece and came to the United States in 1968.
She is survived by her daughters, Theoni Riordan of Middleboro, Maria Morrill and her husband John of Bridgewater, and Joanne Connors and her husband Shawn of East Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Tina Riordan, John Riordan, Christopher Riordan, George Morrill, Thomas Morrill, and Olivia Connors; her siblings, Nicholas Sarras, John Sarras, Rena Gaitanaros, Evangelia Kottakis, Eleftheria Massiou, and Elaine Maxouris. She was the sister of the late Manny Sarras. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Tina worked in the retail business for over thirty years having worked at Bradlees, AJ Wright and retiring from TJ Maxx. Tina enjoyed working in retail and made many friends along the way through her kindness and everlasting warm smile.
Tina's joy in life was taking care of her family and always putting her family's needs first. She was a fabulous cook and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her entire family. Tina also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her plants. She was a true nurturer by heart and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton.

Calling hours in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Wednesday, June 14th from 9:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
