, 75, of Brockton died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Presentation Manor Nursing Home of Brighton.
Born September 20, 1933 in Bessemer Alabama, he was the son of the late James Campbell and Lucille (Sumlin) Campbell. Raised and educated in Bessemer he later came to Boston in 1967. Mr. Campbell worked as a shipper for a Leather Goods Company in South Boston. He enjoyed fishing. He was the brother of Pastor Samuel L. Campbell of Joy Missionary Baptist Church, 1047 North Main St., Brockton.
He is survived by his children, Tommy James Dew and his wife Jeannine of Alabama and Mary Ellen Bowers and her husband Mark of Alabama; his brother and sister, Pastor Samuel L. Campbell and his wife Anne of Brockton and Geneva Ware of California.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Mondaym May 18th at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Monday 11:00AM-12:00PM.
