Vaios Antonopoulos, 98, of Brockton passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. He was the husband of the late Aglaia (Georgantas) Antonopoulos.

Born in Kidonies, Grevena, Greece on February 10, 1925, he was the son of the late Dimitrios Antonopoulos and Theodora (Triandafilides) Antonopoulos.

Vaios worked in construction with his brother in law Ulysses and owned Cape Cod Builders.

He enjoyed cooking and was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and Pan Macedonian Club.

Vaios is survived by his son George Antonopoulos and his wife Donna; his grandchildren Vance Antonopoulos and his wife Maria, Nicholas Antonopoulos and his wife Adrianna, and Zoe Antonopoulos; and his great-grandchildren George Alexander Antonopoulos, Vaia Adel Antonopoulos and Alexander Antonopoulos. He was also the father of the late Dimitrios Antonopoulos.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30th in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
