Online Obituaries Vasilios Bill Barbas 79, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home under the care of his family. He was the husband of Haido Heidi (Papagiotopoulos) Barbas. Born May 28, 1938 in Loukomi, Greece, he was the son of the late Chris Barbas and Ourania (Argyropoulos) Barbas. Bill came from Greece in 1970 and was a self-employed Dry Waller for several years in the Brockton area. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and the Pan Macedonian Club in Brockton. He is survived by his wife, Haido Heidi (Papagiotopoulos) Barbas; his sons, Chris Barbas and his wife Tracy and George Barbas; his sister, Eleni Pantazopoulos; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Nick, Arthur and Argiris Barbas. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Friday, December 22nd at 11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:00PM.
