Vayia K. (Ekonomos) Deliyiannis Vayia K. (Ekonomos) Deliyiannis , 78, of Brockton, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Kindred Health Care Center in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Kostas G. Deliyiannis. Born March 15, 1930 in Voyatsikon, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Demetrios Ekonomos and Zoe (Masuras) Ekonomos. Mrs. Deliyiannis came to Brockton in 1956 from Greece and worked as a Stitcher of several different garment companies. She was a homemaker and a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. She enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her sons, George Deliyiannis of Brockton and James Deliyiannis of New Jersey; her nieces, Thelma Twomey and Aliki Sarantopoulos both of Brockton; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Greece. She was the sister of the late Eleni Barakas. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, October 27th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM.
