Matthews, Veronica Adair "Ronnie" (White), age 63 formerly of Brockton, MA passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was a graduate of Brockton High school in 1978 and received her Bachelors degree from Towson University in Maryland in 2009

Veronica was employed with CareFirst - Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland for 20 years before starting her own business as a certified health & wellness coach, Pilates and fitness instructor /consultant ( The Total You fitness). She taught classes at Care First and other health care companies / facilities. She also cohosted a weekly radio program " Mind Body and Soul" on WEAA-FM Morgan State College.

Veronica loved to participate in health fares and provided free fitness classes to seniors in her community.

She would say, " a job isn't work when you enjoy what you do".

She later changed the business name to Veronica Adair Fitness - Rythm & Bounce Rebounding for beginners and women 50+.

Veronica also acquired many certifications and received numerous accolades in her 30+ years in health and fitness.

She was a strong, creative and innovative woman who lived life on her own terms, she was also silly, funny, compassionate and kind.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Mildred White and her brother, Vernon White. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gregory Matthews, mother-in-law, Madeline Matthews, siblings; Victor White and his wife Nancy. Vanessa White, Vincent White, Lucien White III, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Russel & Pica funeral home, 165 Belmont Street Brockton, MA.

Services: 11:00am - 12:30pm

Burial will follow the funeral services at Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 North Main Street, West Bridgewater
