Obituary

Victor C. Lavache, age 85 of Brockton, died peacefully at his home September 2, 2017 following a period of failing health. He was the husband for 48 years of Shirley E. (Woodland) Lavache. Born in Boston, raised and educated in Dedham, he was the son of the late Victor C. and Anna (Shortman) Lavache. Victor had been employed for over 25 years at Court Square Press in Boston. Victor was a spirited and feisty man, who enjoyed reading and horse racing.

Victor is survived by his children Victor, Michael, Steven, Michelle; step children Stanley, Deborah and Darlene; grandchildren Elizabeth, Jeannie, Dawn Marie, Jason, Samantha, Christopher and Jackie; great grandchildren Christian, Adam, Jake, Kaylin, Kristin and Victoria. He was the brother of Steven, Richard Patricia, Linda, Peter and Robert and the late Daniel.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton Thursday from 10-11am followed by a service at 11am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
