Vincent L. Wedge, 95, a lifelong resident of Brockton passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Helen (Despotopulos) Wedge.
Born in Brockton on June 2, 1925, he was the son of the late Loyami and Rose (Thibedeau) Wedge. Vincent fought during WWII with the United States Army. He received his GED from Massasoit.
Vincent worked for Foxboro Company for many years and was a member of the VFW in Brockton and Whitman. He also served as director of Club National in Brockton and enjoyed bartending events.
In addition to his wife Helen, Vincent is survived by Helen's son John Harris; his sisters Lucille Mitchell of Brockton, Marilyn MacMillan of Taunton and Alice Brady of Las Vegas; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Genevieve Lowe Poirier and brother Edward Wedge.
An interment will be held on Thursday, June 10th at 10:15am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
