Viola D. (Lupica) Stiles, 88, of Brockton, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at BayPointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton after a short period of failing health. She was the former wife of Harley A. Stiles.
Born June 18, 1924 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Domenic Lupica and Rose (Polumba) Lupica. A lifelong Brockton resident she attended Brockton Schools.
Viola modeled wedding gowns for LeMar's House of Fashion in Brockton for several years and also worked as a Nutritionist at the Phaneuf Hospital.
She loved to play Bingo and to redecorate. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gail DeMinico of Norton, Nancy Munies and her husband John of West Yarmouth and Sandra Bourne and her husband Edward of North Easton; her grandchildren, Cherie Goldstein of Whitman, William Foley of Rehoboth and Jennifer Bourne of North Easton; her siblings, Anna Vergobbi of CT and Ralph Lupica of Cambridge; she is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Cheryl Foley and the sister of the late Peter Lupica, Theresa Marrese, Beatrice Ciavarra, Armand Lupica, Roger Lupica and Raymond Lupica.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Tuesday, July 10th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward's Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Monday 5:00-7:00PM.
