Walfred L. Johnson of West Bridgewater died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center on July 1, 2022. He was 74. Born in Brockton, MA, he was the son of the late Wayne G. and Marion L. (Washburn) Johnson. He is survived by his wife Wendy F. (Wolfe) Johnson. Loving father of Nicholas F. and his wife Christine R. Johnson, of Norton, Timothy W. Johnson and his wife Tara E. Kelsey of Brockton. Cherished grandfather of Cameron N. Johnson, Owen C. Johnson, Kaitlin E. Johnson, all of Norton, MA., and Maya S. Johnson of Brockton. He is also survived by his sister Susan J. Goldie and her husband Richard T. Goldie of Naples, FL. A 1966 graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Walfred was a self-employed Carpenter Extraordinaire for Johnson Construction for over 40 years. His hobbies and interests were NASCAR, Old Colony Power Squadron, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. Funeral Services are private at the convenience of Walfred's family. Donations may be made in Wally's memory to The Alzheimer's Association.
