Online Obituaries Walter David Johnston, Jr., 70, originally from Brockton and East Bridgewater passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Lowell, MA. He was the husband of Marilyn Ann (Jannino) Johnston of Haverhill, MA. Born February 3, 1946 in Everett, MA he was the son of the late Walter and Ethel (Small) Johnston. Walter was a graduate of Everett Vocational High School and was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed watching the local New England sports teams, NHRA drag racing, boating, working on cars and dancing to the oldies. In addition to his wife Marilyn, he is survived by his three children, Denise Khoury and her husband Michael, Christine DeSimone and her husband Christopher and Scott Johnston and his wife Pamela; nine grandchildren, Giana, Jennifer, Joey and his companion Tina, Cory, Taylor, Priscilla, Scarlett, Vanessa and Aaron; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Landen; two sisters, Ann Lawrence and her husband Richard and Cheryl Connearney and her husband Rick. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) BROCKTON. Private cremation will follow the service. Calling hours prior to the service from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
