Wayne Edward Jordan, 63, of Norwood, son of the late Bruce and Patricia Jordan (Gunderway), passed away peacefully at Norwood hospital on Thursday April 23, 2020. Born on January 8, 1957 in Plymouth, Wayne grew up in Brockton and attended Brockton Schools. Growing up on Stillman Ave, Wayne had a strong bond with his cousins, friends, Cadillac cars and Basketball. In High School he further excelled at Basketball. Wayne went on to work for Chapman manufacturing company for ten years. He loved music and had a deep connection to (Funkadelic music) so much so he affectionally coined himself, The God Father Of Soul. He was Mr. Personality and was loved by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter Mishiko Redd of Maryland, grandson Ramiel Williams of Maryland, Mishiko's mother Anna Sequeira, of CA, sister Brenda Gunderway of Mansfield, sister Lisa Gunderway of Brockton. He was a loving uncle to his nephews Bernard Gunderway, wife Elise (Mattos) Gunderway of Phoenix AZ nephew Marlon Gunderway of Brockton, nephew Steven Jordan of Attleboro and niece Genise (Jordan) Gibbs of Boston. He was the Brother of the late Marlene Jordan. "Sleep on Wayne and get your rest for we all loved you, but God loves you the best." Due to COVID-19 a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
