Anderson of Brockton, formerly of N. Easton, March 15, 2005, Werner C. “Andy”, 73 years. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn J. (McCabe). Loving father of Donna Anderson of Brockton, James Anderson and his wife Jacqueline of Georgia and Susan French of Brockton and her late husband Thomas French. Cherished grandfather of Michael P. and Aaron W. O’Brien, Jason J. French, Kyle J. and Ross P. Anderson. Dear brother of Judith E. Anderson of N. Easton.

Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Saturday from 2-4PM. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Werner may be made to Brockton Dialysis Center 375 Westgate Drive, Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Mr. Anderson died at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Brockton after a long illness. Born to the late Werner R. and Lillian M. (Walker) Anderson. Werner was raised and educated in North Easton, until his marriage in 1952 to the late Marilyn J. (McCabe) where they moved to Brockton. He served in the United States Army as a cook during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Deli Dept. at Stop & Shop where he worked for over 20 years. Werner was a big sports fan of the “Boston Red Sox” and “Boston Bruins” and enjoyed bowling, bingo and fishing. Mr. Anderson is survived by a son James Anderson of Georgia, two daughters Donna Anderson, Susan French both of Brockton, a sister Judith E. Anderson of No. Easton and 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
