Obituary

Wilfred F. Meagher, age 77, of South Dartmouth, formerly of Texas, passed away on February 2, 2022, at Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center, in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Dottie (Little) Meagher.

Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Edna A. (Benoit) Meagher.

He worked as a professional car detailer for many years. An avid collector of Elvis memorabilia, he enjoyed going to flea markets, visiting Arkansas, digging for crystals, and gem hunting.

Wilfred will be remembered as a quiet and shy person who was sweet, loving, caring and affectionate. He was comical in his own way.

Mr. Meagher is survived by his three daughters, Linda Hickney, of South Dartmouth, Laura Meagher, of Taunton, and Lisa Goode, of East Bridgewater; his siblings, Barbara Tamulevich, Robert “Bob” Meagher, and Dot Burgess; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4-6pm.
