William W. Brown
, 82, of Mattapan, departed this life for his Heavenly home on Thursday, August 18, 2011. He was the husband of Mildred (Robinson) Brown for the past 47 years.
Born on August 11, 1929 in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was the son of the late Russell Brown and Lelia (Forrest ) Brown. He attended Jefferson High school where he played football. He joined the United States Air Force in 1950 and served with the Military Police.
After serving his Country and being discharge with Honor, he went to work for Purex in 1955 and retired 39 years later as a Supervisor. He loved reading to his grandchildren, sports and plenty of money. He was a member of VFW Post #16.
Besides his wife, Millie; he leaves to carry on his legacy three sons, Edward L Jones and his wife Regina, Benjamin R Jones and his wife Lanie and James T Brown and his wife Lia; his seven Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Sheba Barboza; his three brothers, Percy Brown and his wife Arlene, James Brown and his wife Barbara and Arthur ( Diddy) Brown; he is also survived by a host of other family and friends. He was also the brother of the late Annmarie Faulk and Sarah Brown.

Funeral Information
Calling hours in the Eliot Congregational Church, 120 Walnut Ave., Roxbury on Friday, August 26th from 10:00-11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
