Obituary

William A. Donovan, age 60, of Hull, formerly of Pembroke and Brockton, died unexpectedly, May 22, 2017. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, he was the son of Frances M. (LaBlue) Donovan of Brockton and the late James E. Donovan. Bill was a talented carpenter and had been employed by Hill Plastering in Brockton and Hub Construction in Hull. He loved working with his hands and enjoyed walking the beach in Hull. He was an animal lover, especially of his two cats.

Bill was the father of Christine Kent of Middleboro, Patrick, Colleen and Ryan Donovan all of Brockton, and William Donovan, Jr. and Joseph of Pembroke; grandfather of Richard Kent IV and Owen of Middleboro; brother of Sheryl DeFeo and her husband Ralph of Vernon, CT; Rickard Donovan and his wife Vickie of Rindge, NH and James F. Donovan and his wife Jamie of Brockton.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Saturday May 27 10am-1pm followed by a funeral service at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Bill’s name to the charity of your choice.
