William H. Estano William H. Estano , 81, of Pembroke, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Helen L. (Hannon) Estano and he is the partner of Catherine E. McCarthy of Pembroke. Born September 12, 1927 in Boston, he was the son of the late Frederick Estano and Minnie (Kimball) Estano. Mr. Estano was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Mr. Estano was a talented Carpenter and had worked for the Local Carpenters Union #67 for several years. He was a handy-man and was always willing to help others fix things. He has been a resident of Pembroke for over 20 years and had previously lived in Milton. He is survived by his son, William J. Estano, Sr. and his wife Diana of Brockton; his grandchildren Deanna Stevens and her husband John, William Estano, Jr., Paul Estano, and Leanne Estano; his great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jason, Matthew, and Justin; his sisters and brothers, Dorothy Proctor, Marion Thomson, John Estano, Charles Estano, and George Estano; his partner, Catherine E. McCarthy and her children, Michael, Timothy, and Catherine McCarthy; and their children, Luke McCarthy, Erin Urdi, and Michael McCarthy; and Erin's daughter, Cassandra; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Helen Dube, Stanley, George, Albert, Richard, and Robert Estano. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, June 24th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
