Francis and his wife Nancy and Christopher M. Francis and his wife Stephanie both of Brockton. Brother of George A. Francis of Randolph, Thomas J. Francis and Ellen Dentch both of N. Carolina. Devoted grandfather “Buppa” of 11.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Route 123) Brockton Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish/St. Edward Church 9am. Obituary

William Francis died Thursday morning at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Winthrop and raised in Randolph, the son of the late George and Ellen B. (Jones) Francis and was a 1965 graduate of Randolph High School. Mr. Francis was a truck driver for Casey and Hayes Movers of South Boston for 9 years, retiring in 1998 and he was a member of local 82. He enjoyed cooking for his family and his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his wife Elaine “Chris” (Christopher) Francis, his children, Edward Robinson, Jr. and his wife Audrey, Thomas Robinson, Janet Churchill and her husband Edward all of Brockton, Lisa Brodbeck and her husband John of North Attleboro, Patricia Robinson of Bridgewater, William A. Francis and his wife Nancy and Christopher M. Francis and his wife Stephanie both of Brockton, two brothers George A. Francis of Randolph, Thomas J. Francis of N. Carolina and a sister Ellen Dentch of N. Carolina and his 11grandchidlren
