Obituary

William T. Higgins, 67 years of Largo, FL, formerly of Brockton, died October 30, 2008 after a brief illness. Born, raised and educated in Boston, son of the late Timothy and Sarah (Bonner) Higgins. Bill was a former employee of the New England Teamsters Union Local 653. Following his retirement in 2002, he and his wife moved to Largo, FL. He enjoyed his years in Florida and time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary C. (Matthews) Higgins, a son Timothy Higgins; two daughters Elizabeth Pereira and her husband Joseph and Jennifer Hyman and her husband Daniel; three grandchildren Bailey and Cameron Pereira and Isabella Hyman and a sister Mary Walker.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6pm. Donations in Bill’s name may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 502 Bedford Street, Fall River, MA 02720.
