William Nickandros William Nickandros , 78, of West Yarmouth and formerly of Avon, died Tuesday morning, May 22, 2007 at the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the husband of Bessie (Dounelis) Nickandros. Born October 9, 1928 in Brockton, he was the son of the late John Nickandros and Mary (Kokenakes) Nickandros. Raised in Brockton he graduated from Brockton High School. Mr. Nickandros worked as a Food Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for several years before retiring. Mr. Nickandros has been a West Yarmouth resident for the last 15 years and had previously lived in Avon and Brockton. He is survived by his wife, Bessie (Dounelis) Nickandros; his children, John P. Nickandros and his wife Kathryn of East Bridgewater and Elaine K. Nickandros of West Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Alexa, Joshua, Michael, and Daniel; his brother and sisters, George Nickandros of Avon, Julia Nicholaides of Brockton, and Bertha Weinberg of Brockton; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
