William H. Robing, Jr.
, 61, of Evansville, Illinois and formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Illinois after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Carolyn (Langnecker) Robing.
Born November 23, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of William H. Robing and the late Lila (White) Robing. Mr. Robing served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Robing was a Carpenter and was a member of the Local #33 Union in Boston. Mr. Robing has been a resident of Evansville, Illinois for the last 3 years and had previously lived in Brockton for over 30 years. Mr. Robing served as an Officer at the Avon VFW and was a member of the Brockton VFW.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Robing and his wife Areti of West Bridgewater and Denise Kilrow and her husband Paul of Weymouth; his father, William H. Robing; his stepson, Paul Denton of West Bridgewater; he is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
