Obituary

William H. Robing, Sr. William H. Robing, Sr. , 86, of Braintree, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of the late Lila (White) Robing. Born September 30, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late William and Julia (Schulte) Robing. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Machinist Mate on the USS IRWIN and USS COMSTOCK William was a retired Union Carpenter after working several years for Von Alst Construction. He was a member of the VFW, DAV and the Moose and Elk's Lodge. He is survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Robing and his wife Areti of West Bridgewater and Denise (Robing) Kilrow and her husband Paul of Weymouth; his sister, Lorraine Sauer of IL; he is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late William H. Robing, Jr. Funeral Information A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, September 26th at 1:00PM.
