William D. Tracy, 78, of West Yarmouth passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable. He was the husband of the late M. Patricia (Hart) Tracy. Born in Brockton on September 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Wilbur H. Tracy and Mary E. (Kelly) Tracy. William graduated from Brockton High School, and Stonehill College. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. William had worked for the City of Brockton's Veteran's Services before retirement. William is survived by; his son William D. Tracy, and his siblings Mary Yatsko, Stephen Tracy, and David Tracy. He will be missed by his nephew Brian Tracy. A memorial mass and interment will be held at a later date.
