Obituary

Wilma M. Engerman (Jones), age 82, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Rupert L. Engerman.

Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary L. (Driscoll) Jones.

She worked as a department manager at the former Ames and Zayre's Department Stores for many years as well as the Taunton/Raynham Dog Track.

Wilma enjoyed her trips to the casino, playing cards with the family, crocheting, and most recently coloring by numbers. Most of all, she loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Engerman leaves her children, Michael Correia and his wife Donna of New Jersey, Richard Correia of Brockton, and Catherine "Cathy" Waitt of Middleboro; her stepdaughter, Stacey McCarthy; a sister Judith Jones of Brockton; four grandchildren Cory Waitt, Fred Correia, Isaiah Engerman, and Selena Waitt; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joan Correia; stepmother of the late Paula Engerman; and sister of the late William "Billy" Jones.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Wilma's family on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 1-4 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 3:30 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
