Obituary

Winifred M. (Dean) Bonamici, 93 years, of Halifax, formerly of Brockton, died March 15, 2008 at Baypointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. Wife of the late Delpho Louis Bonamici. Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Albert and Theresa (Condon) Dean, she had been a resident of Brockton until moving to Halifax in 1974. She was a 1932 graduate of Brockton High School, an avid bridge player and was devoted to her home and family. While a resident of Brockton she had been a communicant of St. Colman Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lois Alfonso and her husband Richard of South Easton and Gail Mahan of Waldoboro, Maine; three grandchildren Joseph D. Alfonso, Marianne Nedell and James A. Mahan, IV; six great grandchildren; one nephew and two nieces.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm.
