Obituary

Winifred A. (Kelley) Cote 91 years died Thursday May 24 at the Southeast Rehab and Skilled Care Center in North Easton after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Cote.
Mrs. Cote was born and educated in Whitman a daughter of the late Martin J. and Helena G. (O’Brien) Kelley. For many years she lived in Brockton before moving to Pocasset. For several years she had worked for Breen’s catering in Brockton. Her family and children were her pride and joy.
When living in Brockton she attended St. Margaret and St. Colman Churches.
She is survived by 3 daughters Donna L. Gurney of Mansfield, Linda L. Rodrick of Pocasset, Valerie A. Cote of Mansfield; 2 sons Russell M. Cote of Martha’s Vineyard and Paul E. Cote of Tennessee.
She also leaves 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Lucien S. Cote and sister of the late Helen Weir, Patricia Murphy, Elizabeth DeWolfe and Katherine O’Brien.
Services were held Thursday at the Conley Funeral Home with burial in the family lot at Melrose Cemetery.
