Sinkiewicz, of Brockton, April 20, 2007, Winifred M. (Lapinski) Sinkiewicz, 96 years. Mother of Joseph P. Sinkiewicz of Brockton. Wife of the late Anthony J. Sinkiewicz and mother of the late Francis J. and Anthony J. Sinkiewicz.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Casimir Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-7pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Sinkiewicz died Friday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late John and Michalina (Grecevich) Lapinski, she had been a lifelong resident. Prior to her marriage she was employed by the former Diamond Shoe Company in Brockton. Following her marriage, her interests were in her home, family and church. She was well known for her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a communicant of St. Casimir’s Church, a member of the Junior and Senior choirs, a prefect of St. Mary’s Sodality and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She was one of the three original parishioners to start the St. Casimir Parochial School, from which her three sons later graduated.

She is survived by her son Joseph P. Sinkiewicz of Brockton, five grandchildren Jeffery, Joseph, Maria, Anthony and Joseph and a sister Nellie Lapinski of Brockton.

She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Sinkiewicz; mother of the late Francis J. and Anthony J. Sinkiewicz and sister of the late Joseph and Walter Lapinski.
