IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Yancy
Morpeau
February 4, 1992 – June 6, 2024
Yancy Bernard Morpeau born on February 4, 1992 was a compassionate soul to everyone who knew him. Yancy was newly 32 and left this world unexpectedly leaving a legacy of kindness, empathy, resilience, and joy. His smile and laugh touched everyone in the room with him.
Yancy had many passions but none greater than his love for Kingdom Hearts and Manga. Yancy loved more than anything spending hours playing with and beating his cousins Reggie and Randel in League of Legends. Nothing ignited him more than defeating a level or finishing a book. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new and adventurous foods. However, his main passion was for his family. Yancy was a loving son, overprotective brother/cousin, and loyal friend. He leaves behind his mother Gisele Morín, grandmother Yolande Morpeau, father Dominique Morpeau, sisters Charleen "Mariah" Pierre, and Tamika Morpeau; Aunts and Uncle Marie and Renald Princivil; Gepsy Guillaume, his many cousins Tayssi, Alex, Reggie, Berline, Michelle, Ashley, Alissay, Gabriella, Isabelle, Jaelyn, Jayvien, Amani, Maya, Naomi, Naldine, Randel, Kelson, Mayar, and Martin. As well as his Aunts Marie Jose, Martine, Carmelle, Karine, and Nadine Morpeau and their children.
More than anything he loved spending time with family and would do anything for any one of them without hesitation. Though his time with us was short he made his mark on the world.
Yancy graduated from Brockton High School in 2011 and then went on to graduate from the YearUp program in Boston, MA. Yancy most recently was accepted into the Aviation Maintenance Technology program, and was excited to start with the long-term goal of developing his own video game.
