Yolanda N. (Capachione) Moore, of Brockton and recently Bridgewater, died peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late John "Red" Moore.
Yolanda was born on October 3, 1927 in Brockton, daughter of the late Sabino and Rose Capachione. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and Fisher Jr College.
Yolanda loved her family and would speak to her sisters daily. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards (and rarely lost a game of gin rummy), a fantastic cook, and was known far and wide for her amazing chicken wings, marinara sauce, chicken with white wine, and could perform miracles with pork tenderloin!
Yolanda is survived by her five children, Nancy Buckley, John Moore and his wife Harriett, Paul Moore and his wife Jessica, Jane Martin and her husband Mitchell, and Marie Waters and her husband James. She was the cherished Grandmother of Jennifer, Danny, Zach, Emily, Evan, and Ali. She is also survived by her great Grandson Harry, who brought her great pleasure and happiness. Harry was the light of her life. Yolanda will be greatly missed by her adoring family, many nieces and nephews and close friends.
A private family service will be held. The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a local St Vincent de Paul Society.
