Obituary

Yvonne (Zacqrias) Sereda, age 76, of Brockton, died July 14, 2012 at St. Joseph Manor following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Mikolaj Sereda and daughter of the late Palmira R. (Giorgetti) Zacqrias Yvonne was born in San Paulo, Brazil, and had been a resident of Brockton since 1961. Before her retirement she had been employed by Fisher Sportswear in Brockton. She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Local 242 and a member of the Temple Baptist Church where she was very active in church activities. She is survived by relatives in Brazil, and her church community.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 6-7pm followed by a Funeral Service at 7pm. Burial will be private in Melrose Cemetery.
